Exercises on syncope

Proper enforcement of syncope is very important to play fingerpicking guitar. I wrote a lot of exercises that will gradually lead you to their easy learning.

What's the syncope?

In the first instance the syncopated note is located between the first and the second beat.

The presence of syncope must not interfere with the regular rhythm of alternating bass. The basses should continue to play on every click of the metronome and the syncopated note should only fit between them without causing any slowdown. If you are not fast enough, try to reduce the speed of the metronome beat.

Let's apply this scheme to the three progressions of chords already learned before.
