The "Travis Picking"
The "Travis Picking" is a style characterized from alternation continues between thumb, index and middle. The American guitarist Merle Travis made this kind of style popular in the 50's and today many artists of folk music, pop, country, rock but also use it to accompany their songs.
In the following pages you will find the first examples of Travis Picking, style that will be with us even in the next lesson of the second and third levels.
