The barre represent often a obstacle for a beginner, I wrote a series of easy and beautiful fingerstyle guitar lessons that allow you easily to learn the technique.
In these first two lessons you have to press with the index of the left hand two strings simultaneously.
Press the strings not in the middle of the fret but close to the metal bar, so you get a clearer sound.
